Theatrical training at Bridgewater immerses the student in an environment of study, practice, and theory of all facets of live stage performance while providing the balanced education of a liberal arts university and culminating in a Bachelor of Arts degree. While at BSU, theater students have opportunity to explore the many roles available in theater, from working behind the curtain, in the spotlight, or educating tomorrow's stars. Students are offered a major in Communication Studies with concentrations in Theater and Theater Education as well as minors in Theater and Musical Theater Performance.
Bridgewater's lively theater scene includes four main-stage performances annually, including a major musical, a student-driven festival, and performances of classical and modern hallmarks of the stage!
